Possible Xperia Z2 Leaks!

without comments

IMG_20140118_025448Around Christmas 2013 there were rumours of Sony having a roadmap of their devices being leaked. The Sony Xperia Z2 was tipped to be unveiled this MWC 2014.

What we know is that this phone has smaller bezels and that means a bigger screen. The leakster has comfirmed a 5.25 inch screen. Also, judging by the button placements and flaps this seems to be a water resistant device just like Xperia Z1.

IMG_20140118_025442The leakster has promised photos of the new UI soon, so let’s see if there is anything interesting coming up.

iPhone killer: Sony Xperia Z1 Mini launched as Sony Xperia Z1f

without comments

so-02f_01

Sony today unveiled their iPhone killer, and by iPhone killer, I mean it will most definitely give the new iPhone 5s a good run for its money. The Sony Xperia Z1f is basically the long rumoured Sony Xperia Z1 Mini, and it means business.

The Sony Xperia Z1f is unlike any ‘Mini’ variant seen before, in the sense that the only thing ‘mini’ about it compared to its bigger sibling is its display. The Xperia Z1f features a 4.3-inch HD display, a 2.3GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 20.7MP Sony Exmor RS camera sensor, LTE as well as a 2,300mAh battery. So, basically better than the iPhone 5s in almost every way at most likely about half the price. Unlike the Xperia Z1, the Xperia Z1f isn’t all that huge and should be more than a delight to hold. The fact that it is made out of aluminum and glass and has a heavy duty dust and water resistance rating should score it even more points.

The device is currently only available in Japan through NTT DoCoMo, but Sony is more than likely to launch it globally, if they won’t they would seriously shoot themselves in the foot. Bye bye Nokia Lumia 1020…
