Facebook’s announcement of that they will be unveiling a “big idea” this Thursday has brought along a lot of speculation as to what big blue has planned for us, some have suggested that they will be unveiling a Google Reader replacement while today news has started spreading, supposedly from insiders, that the company is bringing video sharing to Instagram, making it more competitive with Twitter’s more popular Vine.
Social networks seem to be all the rage nowadays, but their is still one thing that is in short supply; business-minded social networks such as LinkedIn. Apparently the Wall Street Journal is trying to change that with a planned business social network of their own.

Almost seven years after launching, Twitter has finally received a patent describing itself in its entirety, including things such as sent messages that aren’t destined to a recipient. The patent was filed in 2007 describing Jack Dorsey and Biz Stone as the inventors.
