Samsung Likely To Launch “Galaxy Glass” At IFA !

without comments

samsung-galaxy-glass-patent-7After releasing a whole tonne of Smart refrigerators, ovens, vacuum cleaners at CES 214, Samsung couldn’t really hold back coming up with this.

If this is anything like the Galaxy Gear for your face, people are gonna hate it. Samsung should’ve learnt the lessons of what not to do when it comes to wearable tech from the Galaxy Gear and hopefully we’re gonna see some improvements here.

The new smart glass to be introduced by Samsung is a new concept of wearable device that can lead to an exciting culture of communication. The smart glass will present our aim to lead the new market with proven capability. Wearable devices can’t generate profits immediately. Steady releases of devices are showing our firm commitment as a leader in new markets.

Think Your LTE Is Fast? Korea to Have 300Mbps LTE This Year!

without comments

Samsung-Galaxy-Round-Hands-On-AA-2-of-19-645x362Two of Koreas largest network providers will offerr faster LTE-A by combining two bands that would result in faster than ever speeds of upto 300 Mbps.

To give you a perspective of how fast that is, this speed means an 800 MB movie can be downloaded in 30 seconds. To benefit from these speeds, users will need a compatible smartphone. The current Snapdragon 800SoC from Qualcomm only supports 2-band carrier aggregation, which enables speeds of up to 150Mpbs. The Snapdragon 805, expected in the market in the second half of the year, will enable 3-band carrier aggregation.

The image was posted by SamMobiles  is said to show the 5.55-inch Note 3 Neo next to the 5.7-inch Note 3. There’s always the chance that the image is fake or that the device is a prototype or a fake imitation, but it looks pretty legit to us.

We have some more pictures for you, the back looks pretty similar with the faux leather back with differences near the camera module. The Note 3 Neo will come with a Samsung-made hexa-core processor and run Android 4.3 out of the box, but the rest of the specs are almost identical with the 2012 Note 2.

The Note 4 Could Have A 3 Sided Display, No Kidding!

without comments

flexibledisplay-youm

The Note lineup has much been the Boss of Android flagships and Samsung cannot help but give this device special treatment. Samsung usually dedicates a lot of research into every iteration of their Note devices and rumours have it that the Note 4 is going to get even more surprising.

Samsung had unveiled their early prototypes of rounded displays last year and it seems that they have just got the technology ready to be incorporated for mass production. However, what is concerning is that will it really make sense to take a huge design overhaul considering their Galaxy Round hasn’t really taken off well.

Is This The UX Of The Galaxy S5!?

without comments

samsung-uiWell rumours turned out to be true and Samsung did launch 4 new Galaxy Pro models with top of the line hardware. Not only that, these tablets come with Android Kitkat 4.4 with a new touchwiz UI with a card boasting interface and better multitasking than before.

Things here in the leak that came from @evleaks today look more like a phone UX, probably to be featured on the next flagship and yes the new font is a refreshing change but it undeniably looks more flat and iOS like ever. Is this how the Galaxy S5 could appear? Could be, we are just months far from knowing the reality. There is no way to confirm the authenticity of these shots as of now.

gsmarena_001Image Courtesy : GSMArena

Very often it’s difficult to pick a perfect Android phone, you might be having a blazing fast S4 but might envy the sheer metal body of the HTC One. After almost years of consumer disliking and ranting, the “plasticy” Galaxy phones get a hefty cousin.

The Korean reporter, ETNews reported that Samsung plans to make a high end metal smartphone: the Galaxy F. The phone will be decked out with a metal exterior, and should be launched around the same time as the highly awaited Galaxy S5.

We do want to see Samsung do this since long, how premium? With time, will we know.
