Twitter Music has finally launched, but some mobile users will be quite upset with the fact that the application will only be available for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch for now. The application bring four ways to discover new music and share it with your followers.
Rumours of Twitter launching a music service has been flying around for quite some time, rumours which were confirmed yesterday when Twitter announced its acquisition of the music discovery service We Are Hunted. Twitter Music will supposedly go online later today.
Roughly 18 months after launching BBM Music, BlackBerry is killing off the social music service and referring users to one of their competitors. From June the company will no longer allow users their 50 song playlist to share with friends over the company’s BBM instant messaging service.
