Microsoft supposedly preparing Office for iOS and Android for 2014 release

For quite a while now plenty of consumers have wondered why Microsoft hasn’t released an official Office suite for the iPad or Android, recently an analyst even estimated that MS could make over $2.5 billion from an Office for iPad application, but Redmond hasn’t seemed to have shared the same sentiments, yet.

One such technology is the Microsoft SPOT program, short for Smart Personal Objects Technology, which included smart watches in it’s blooming portfolio.

Google tipped off EU about Microsoft antitrust conerns

As competition between Google and Microsoft escalates, both parties seem to be resorting to dirty tricks to disadvantage the other.

Earlier this week Microsoft was fined close to a billion dollars by European authorities due to antitrust concerns, and according to the Financial Times Google was the one that tipped the EU off about Microsoft’s activities. The European Commission is punishing Microsoft for supposedly bullying consumers by not offering them a choice between their browser and those of competitors.
