The ever so unique HTC First seems to be struggling to sell. Originally priced at $99 on a two year contract from AT&T, the device has had it’s price cut drastically after what appears to be awful sales.
The HTC First has barely been announced and it’s already making headlines again, it seems the supposed ‘Facebook phone’ is a midrange dream as it turns out the device is actually the harbinger of stock Android to those who love HTC, but hate Sense.
Yesterday’s launch of the HTC First, a so-called Facebook phone, had mixed reactions and to cater for everyone’s needs, it seems like HTC a variant of the device without all of the Facebook faff.
Facebook’s mystery event unveiled quite a bit. Facebook today introduced Facebook Home to the world, calling it ” a new way to turn your Android phone into a great, living, social phone.”
Facebook is set to announce its own adapted version of Android tomorrow with its UI update called Facebook Home, together with that a set of devices may launch including an offering from HTC called the HTC First.
