Samsung’s latest generation of tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 line has undoubtedly failed to impress. Equipped with low resolution screens, slow processors and other features that can not compare to competitors’ offerings, everyone only assumed that Samsung was shooting themselves in the foot, but it seems that was not the case. According to some new leaks, Samsung is working on a set of tablets that are sure to knock the Apple iPad’s shoes off.
Samsung started the phablet revolution when they launched the original Samsung Galaxy Note, and they are likely to try and once again prove that they can innovate in the sector, despite plenty of other offerings from competitors, when they launch the new Samsung Galaxy Note III later this year. An insider has claimed that the official screen size for the device, which has been a hot topic as of late, is set to be 5.7-inch, a bit smaller than offerings from their competitors.
The upcoming ‘phablet’ superstar from the brand who made the ‘phablet’ cool has finally gotten a launch date after months of rumours and speculation.
With a row of Samsung leaks as of late, we would not be surprised if this is legit, but the Samsung Galaxy Note III or a prototype thereof has been leaked; the bottom line is that it looks plain terrible.
Samsung started the ‘phablet’ revolution and as the trend continues to grow, it seems fitting that Samsung continues their efforts in that area. This year’s flagship ‘phablet’, the Samsung Galaxy Note III still has quite a way to go and according to recent rumours, AT&T executives will catch a glimpse of the device later this week.
