Well, it’s been a while since the latest version of the iPhone was out and discounts are not usual at this point of the year. It’s common to see this happen close to an iPhone announcement, but we don’t expect the next-generation iPhone to launch until June.
Right now they are selling the iPhone 5s for $384.99 for the 16GB version, the 32GB model for $455, and the 64GB model for $525 which is a crazy price drop if you are aiming for the topmost variant. On the other side, the iPhone 5c is available for $315 for the 16GB model and $385 for the 32GB model.
Umm… any catch you may ask?! These phones are available off contract but they are locked to Virgin’s network which is Sprint network. We don’t have any tip on how long this sale is going to last so head over if you have good coverage, you might just be in luck for some gold!
Apple has consistently been breaking it’s sales records with every iteration of their iPhone; rumors about the new iPhone 6 seem to be building since Apple has said that there will be a couple of rather new changes that they would be implementing this time over(maybe like every time that they do?)
Foxconn electronics, major manufacturer for Apple’s higher-end iPhones, is apparently expecting orders of as much as 90 million iPhone 6 units in 2014 according to the Chinese-language Commercial Times, which cited data from Citigroup Global Markets as indicating. To give you a perspective, the growth in 2013 was 13%, what this news would mean is that growth could be as much as 23%.
The Talkband B1 sure looks a lot more like a fitness tracker than anything like the Gear 2. The TalkBand B1, as Huawei calls it, also behaves much like such a tracker, measuring footsteps, monitoring sleeping patterns, and letting you record calories – essentially aiming directly at the fitbit fitness tracker.
The trick that the Talkband has under it’s sleve is that the display pops out and acts as a wireless Bluetooth earpiece. With a price of around $140 or 100 Euros, expect this device to be available this quarter.
Sonny Dickson tweeted out a few pics revealing a very slim frame that sure seems to match the sort of manufacturing work we’ve seen for Apple products in the past. While he admits that he’s “not 100% sure” that this really is the iPhone 6 back panel, it definitely looks the part.
And just ot give you’ll a clear perspective of how big this iPhone is compared to it’s previous version, 9To5Mac placed the back panel over each other via photo editing techniques and the bump in dimensions here is pretty clear. We have been hearing about this 5 inch + screen size on the next generation iPhone and that sure sounds good but are you ready for a bigger iPhone?!
Definitely not the first time we are hearing about iphones catching fire, this one coming from New York where a 13-Year old kid Maine, US suffered first- and second-degree burns as her iPhone spontaneously caught fire while in her pocket.
WMTW reported that just as this teenager sat down in class, she heard a pop with smoke emanating from her pants. Three of her classmates helped her while the teacher bought the fire extinguisher to set out the flames. Fire administrators quoted “appears that when the student sat down, with the phone in her back pocket, the phone’s battery ‘shorted out’. The state fire marshal is investigating.”
Apple in the past has replaced faulty chargers with new ones for such allegations and also called some of them third party attacks, but is it enough !?
A new report says that Apple might still not mess with the iOS 7 look and feel for the iOS 8, but instead would shift their focus to better fitness tracking. If this is true, this would be very sad since it’s been ages since iOS has looked almost the same.A recent report also suggested that Apple met FDA last week regarding health and fitness regulations so there is definitely an inclination towards that.
Is Apple facing he heat from Google’s smart lenses!?
Well well well, what do we have here! Apple seems to have relaunched the iPhone 4 in India as reported by India times. The reason stated is that iPhone sales have plummeted post the introduction of the iPhone 5c and the iPhone 5s which are over-priced for the Indian market.
Apple additionally also retired the iPhone 5 leaving eaving future possible owners no choice for a lower-end/budget iPhone. However, it appears that the iPhone 4 is back in the game, but at an “almost robbery” price of Rs23,000, which translates to roughly $375, as referred to in the report. The expected/rumored price was Rs15,000 (around $240)
Reports say that this is the photograph of the upcoming iPhones metal frame and right away one can’t help but notice how big it is, if this turns into reality it could be a huge size upgrade, the biggest screen size update ever! Apple was rumoured to be working on a 4.7inch and 5.7inch versions and this could be the latter.
These photographs do not really make us confidence, do you think these images are legit?
These Sensoria socks are intelligent enough to track your steps, movements, speed and calories thanks to a bunch of sensors. And ofcourse since socks cant accommodate transmitters, there is this ankle band that sends this data to your smartphone so you can keep a record of all those numbers.
Seriosuly this is a great concept but these technologies need to be much more integrated to one device and must not be awkward wearables.
To jailbreak your iPhone, one needs to have a Windows (XP minimum), Mac OS X (10.6 minimum) or Linux (x86 / x86_64) machine and a iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4. The official page of evasion warns “many Cydia tweaks are not yet compatible with iOS 7″.
Also many sources have said that they havent been able to test it much, so if you do this you’re really upto yourself.
