This is the first time we are seeing a non-dummy iPhone 6 with a working display. It is not easy to draw conclusions regarding the colors of the device it’s either a white or gold version. iOS 8 is what we are seeing on the lockscreen which we believe will mark the end of it’s Beta stage with the launch of the iPhone 6.
The smartphone will apparently be featuring a 4.7″ IPS LCD with a 960 x 1704 pixel resolution, 2GB of RAM and dual-core 2GHz 64-bit processor – Apple’s A8 processor.
It’s been a couple of years Android has been rocking NFC and to an extent it does make life simple and even though it may not replace something it is good to have. The tiny chip in the image above is supposedly it, an NFC controller from NXP Semiconductors. It is intended to give the iPhone 6 the ability to conduct wireless payments, simplify device pairing, and facilitate content sharing between devices.
NFC isn’t huge yet, but if Apple manages to pull off something crazy, it would be awesome indeed!
Today we have news stating that Apple is also “almost definitely” going to showcase the iWatch at the same event as well. We have no idea how it looks and what it does so that is something which would really interesting to see. Apple has acquired Beats and VP of Sales from Tag Heur so we should be seeing a lot of new things incorporated.
iOS 8 should finally start seeding to all iDevices as well so we’ll let you know about all the action.
China Telecom is Apple’s largest seller in Asia went ahead an posted the above on it’s its official Weibo account. The post has since been deleted, but the delay was still enough for it to be copied and shared all over the web. The post does show the iPhone 6 in three colors and another piece of information includes the availability of LTE, 3G , CDMA and GSM networks in China.
September 9 is when the iPhone 6 debut is scheduled so we’ll keep you updated.
It’s hard to tell right now why the 32GB won’t be offered but we can see that information being confirmed with an official release that can happen anytime early next month. According to the leak, Toshiba and Hynix will provide the 16GB NAND flash chips. Hynix will also be responsible for a portion of the 64GB NAND chips alongside SanDisk. The largest, 128GB memory will carry Toshiba branding.
Does this make you feel good about having a 128GB or would you rather not pay more and get the 32GB?
We have seen plenty of images of the rear shell and the front panel of the phone before but this is the first time someone put them together. It is safe to assume that all parts look pretty much authentic in design and construction wise – it looks like we finally have nailed down on one design that is going to reach in the hands of the masses.
This seems to the be the 4.7 inch version, with the 5.5 inch one to follow the same design.
To give you’ll a perspective the iPhone 5s and 5c both have 1GB of RAM as well and they work pretty much flawlessly. We also have news about the battery of the iPhone 6 that is pictured about giving us a number that reads 2915mAh – this will be the capacity of the battery powering the bigger of the two iPhones while the smaller 4.7 inch version will be powered by a 1810mAh one which if true will be disappointing.
September 9 is coming soon and we will find out then!
With more and more pieces of final hardware leaking online, we have a fair idea of how the iPhone 6 will look like. These new photos suggest that even though the size of the display would bump upto 4.7 inches, the phone would be perfectly usable with one hand.
These photos seem to be the real deal with markings like 6G. The iPhone is expected to launch on September 9 with a better processor. The display on the iPhone 6 is expected to be protected by Sapphire which is very expensive to source . There were news stating that Apple had difficulty in sourcing the required amount of Sapphire for mass production but such issues seem to have been sorted now.
Stay with us for the latest updates on the iPhone 6.
A batch of recent snaps to appear online show what could be the most convincing yet. While the iPhone image on the box seems to be a genuine press image of the device – and the apps’ arrangement is consistent with the iPhone 5s’s apps arrangement.
The dodgy quality of the shots doesnt make us give it 100% credibility or earn our confidence either. While some sources claim this could be a dummy taken too far off from the official dimensions and been recreated somewhere in China is also a possibility we cannot rule out. Things have just started getting interesting, Apple – your move!
A recent polls show that the current format does not satisfy the majority of iPhone users: more than a half are ready to switch to a 4.7-inch Apple flagship. According to the survey conducted by the iMore resource, almost 55% of respondents identified the 4.7-inch screen as perfect for the new iPhone. At the same time 29.81% considered the 5.5 inches diagonal appropriate.
According to the Tavis McCourt study results, this year in March 33% of iPhone owners in the United States agreed to pay extra $ 100 to get a smartphone with a larger screen. Incase Apple misses out on bringing a larger screen, then it would fail at bringing lots of potential Android users onboard.
