Archive for the ‘apple iphone 5’ tag
Sonny Dickson tweeted out a few pics revealing a very slim frame that sure seems to match the sort of manufacturing work we’ve seen for Apple products in the past. While he admits that he’s “not 100% sure” that this really is the iPhone 6 back panel, it definitely looks the part.
And just ot give you’ll a clear perspective of how big this iPhone is compared to it’s previous version, 9To5Mac placed the back panel over each other via photo editing techniques and the bump in dimensions here is pretty clear. We have been hearing about this 5 inch + screen size on the next generation iPhone and that sure sounds good but are you ready for a bigger iPhone?!
However, a new hack can allow an intruder to disable Find My iPhone without needing a password. An unlocked iPhone needs to be accessed by an attacker for this, thanks to this new found glitch, the intruder can shut this service without needing nay password further.
Fortunately the new iOS 7.1 beta doesn’t fall prey to this attack.
Definitely not the first time we are hearing about iphones catching fire, this one coming from New York where a 13-Year old kid Maine, US suffered first- and second-degree burns as her iPhone spontaneously caught fire while in her pocket.
WMTW reported that just as this teenager sat down in class, she heard a pop with smoke emanating from her pants. Three of her classmates helped her while the teacher bought the fire extinguisher to set out the flames. Fire administrators quoted “appears that when the student sat down, with the phone in her back pocket, the phone’s battery ‘shorted out’. The state fire marshal is investigating.”
Apple in the past has replaced faulty chargers with new ones for such allegations and also called some of them third party attacks, but is it enough !?
A new report says that Apple might still not mess with the iOS 7 look and feel for the iOS 8, but instead would shift their focus to better fitness tracking. If this is true, this would be very sad since it’s been ages since iOS has looked almost the same.A recent report also suggested that Apple met FDA last week regarding health and fitness regulations so there is definitely an inclination towards that.
Is Apple facing he heat from Google’s smart lenses!?
Reports say that this is the photograph of the upcoming iPhones metal frame and right away one can’t help but notice how big it is, if this turns into reality it could be a huge size upgrade, the biggest screen size update ever! Apple was rumoured to be working on a 4.7inch and 5.7inch versions and this could be the latter.
These photographs do not really make us confidence, do you think these images are legit?
These Sensoria socks are intelligent enough to track your steps, movements, speed and calories thanks to a bunch of sensors. And ofcourse since socks cant accommodate transmitters, there is this ankle band that sends this data to your smartphone so you can keep a record of all those numbers.
Seriosuly this is a great concept but these technologies need to be much more integrated to one device and must not be awkward wearables.
To jailbreak your iPhone, one needs to have a Windows (XP minimum), Mac OS X (10.6 minimum) or Linux (x86 / x86_64) machine and a iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4. The official page of evasion warns “many Cydia tweaks are not yet compatible with iOS 7″.
Also many sources have said that they havent been able to test it much, so if you do this you’re really upto yourself.
An anonymous tipster sent in the screenshots included in this post (above and below) a few days ago claiming that he or she has spotted them in some video footage. Although all these are just rumours and we have seen leaks never seen the light of day, the leaked screenshot looks more like a finished product.
Do let us know what you think, does it make sense for Yahoo to integrate voice in its mobile products?
There is reason to talk about the iWatch since there was a rumour stating that when we got an update about a possible timetable. Another report later stated that Apple might not be able to cope with the mass production needs of this hardware pushing it to late 2014.
October is when Apple would apparently get the iWatch to the masses. Apple is much clear about it’s stand on wireless charging : they hate it! Until now, new rumours suggest that Apple is looking at Wireless charging as an option and is serious on developing this technology for it’s wearable accessory.
Apple recently just updated their developer website and they proudly showcase recent statistics which say – 74% of total iOS running devices now have iOS7 on them.
This is a significant number and most of which has been achieved with the release of the two new iPhones this year : iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c. What is also impressive is the fact that 22% of users are running iOS 6 which means a whooping 96% people are using the last two latest versions of iOS.
Well, only if Google can reach half those number with KitKat, i would be the happiest!
