kitkat-nexus-7-prize-india-1-645x238The Nestle KitKat and Google tie up at the last moment might have worked great for both companies but today a rather troubling news surface online.

According to a tipster and several reports from India, KitKat used Nexus 7 (2013) images when marketing the promotion, but then shipped the older tablet to winners.

When asked about this to Nestle, this is what they had to say : “We hear you’re unhappy. Winners got the Nexus7 tabs available in India in Sept (contest date). The new version launched only in Nov.”

Well, only if companies could make their marketing campaigns better!

Android KitKat V 4.4.1 Is Already Running On Few Nexus Devices!

without comments

Android_KitKat_large_verge_medium_landscapeVarious sources say that what looks like an incremental KitKat update has been seen in server logs, running on the Nexus 5, Nexus 4 and Nexus 7.

A Website(Link below) says that Server Logs and Analytics show few Nexus Devices running Android v4.4.1 Kitkat with IPs tracing to Google’s stomping grounds in the Bay Area. This means Google is already testing these builds.

4.4.1In addition to that the famous HTC Rom developer LLabTooFeR has also tweeted details about Android 4.4.1. Apparently the HTC One Google Play edition will get Android 4.4.1 “in the near future,” as firmware version KOT49E.

It is still to early t rely on these leaks and updates as less than 10 % of Android Devices have Kitkat 4.4 running on them.
