Apple’s Healthbook For iOS 8 Decoded Amid New Leaks!

without comments

healthbook-bookAt WWDC 2014, we all know that Apple is gonna come out with iOS 8, and lately things are getting pretty rough for them since the internet is not well at keeping secrets.

The Healthbook app is a distillation of the ongoing buzz of smartphones that should have extensive health monitoring onboard. The software borrows cues from Apple’s current Passbook application, but with cards for different aspects of a user’s health instead of for loyalty cards, boarding passes, etc.

As we can see Activity and Weight tracking, as well as sleep and diet, work like existing solutions, as mentioned, but advanced applications like blood sugar monitoring would require additional hardware. Is this a third party accessory or will an Apple made iWatch to be it’s feed, we know not.

This can also be set to feature emergency contact info in case of an accident, and 9to5Mac speculates that it will be made available from a device’s lock screen, just like the emergency dialer feature is now.

Are you excited for iOS 8, what is the number one must have feature according to you?!
