The Wall Street Journal confirms in a new report that Nokia is going to release an Android-powered smartphone at the Mobile World Congress later this month.
The phone is allegedly tailored in such a way that it wont promote some essential stuff that is incorporated by Google, basically a forked version of Android. Instead of traditional Google apps like GMail and Maps, it will have here maps and apps from Nokia and Microsoft. This Nokia X / Normandy as it’s codenamed, has been rumored since the longest time possible and ever since then it has been leaked till the actual phone with it’s UI was leaked recently.
