What likes to spend a ridiculous amount of money on turning the works of fiction into reality? That’s right, the US Army is. Apparently the US Army has commissioned the creation of an ‘Iron Man’ like body armour that will enhance soldiers’ capabilities.
The US Army has let it be known that they are looking into creating the real-life equivalent of an Iron Man suit, nicknamed T.A.L.O.S. after Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit, or the Bronze giant guy from Greek mythology that protected Europa in Crete from being invaded or destroyed. The suit’s goal will be to protect its wearer from a hail of gunfire, provide night vision, enhance their physical strength as well as support life within the suit through a built-in computer. So, basically an Iron Man suit with an iPhone dock.
It sounds pretty cool, but we are likely to see something similar to the first movie’s Warmachine, before it gets chunked down into size, to form Iron Patriot? Guess The Avengers 2 just got some free publicity!
