Just a few days after the upcoming Google Nexus 5 was leaked in an Android 4.4 KitKat video, the device has passed through the FCC, gaining some much needed attention, an official name, some features and confirmation that the device is indeed manufactured by LG.
The Google Nexus 5, also known as the LG Nexus 5 D820, with the LG G2 being the D802, has leaked after passing through the FCC, already being certified. The LG D820, or Google Nexus 5, has been confirmed to pack a 5-inch FHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, NFC and LTE. The Nexus 5 also seems to pack an oversized camera sensor, which leans us to believe that this year Google has focussed on the camera, after the failure that was the Nexus 4′s camera. The device also features an old build of Android 4.4 KitKat, still labelled Key Lime Pie.
