After 29 days of constantly switching out their logo, Yahoo! has finally unveiled their new corporate logo and it is looking quite good. The new Yahoo! logo reminds one of Apple’s design philosophy; simple, yet elegant.
The new Yahoo! logo has finally been unveiled after the company showed off 29 possible new picks for their corporate logo each day for the last month. The new logo looks great to me, despite many voicing their strong dislike of the logo on social media channels. Many even went as far as to joke that with all the switching of logos, Yahoo just opted for their old logo as users are more than likely to have forgotten what it looked like. The new logo looks plain and simple and reminds me of Apple in a sense, it’s elegant and most definitely an improvement over the previous choice.
Yahoo! is entering into a new era of their corporate strategy, they’re changing quite well thanks to their new female leader, Marissa Mayer, and despite change sometimes being difficult, it seems to be quietly embraced by all after Yahoo! overtook Google as the world’s most visited website a few weeks ago for the first time in almost six years.
Welcome back Yahoo! We love the new look!
