Nestle takes a stab at Apple with mocking new KitKat ad

without comments

Now that news of Google and Nestle’s partnership with Android 4.4 KitKat has been fully announced and sunk in, Nestle has released a new commercial mocking Apple’s usual product introduction videos, usually featuring Jony Ive.

The video above, created and marketed by Nestle, cleverly mocks Apple’s product introduction video and introduces the KitKat, known as the ‘future of confectionary’. The video features a British lad named Christoper Catlin, the KitKat CBO (Chief Breaks Officer), and some mellow piano melodies which sounds just like an Apple video. The video reminds one of the one below, where Jony Ive is seen introducing the Apple iPhone 5 in great detail. Similarly Catlin describes the KitKat chocolate bar here saying how it’s one finger long and four fingers wide and precisely carved for maximum enjoyment. The video is cleverly entertaining and does bring up some excitement as to what Apple’s next iPhone(s) may bring to the table as well as what we will see in Android 4.4 KitKat.

Exciting times ahead it seems!
