Nexus 4 gets price dropped to $199 once-off, successor in sight

Nothing says “Nexus 5 coming very soon” quite like Google slashing the price for the current Google Nexus 4, made by LG, by 25%. That is right, the Nexus 4 is currently down to just $199 once-off, making it more affordable than the Nexus 7 tablet for the first time ever.

LG has been rumoured to be behind the next Nexus, quietly dubbed the Nexus 5, which is more than likely to feature a 5-inch 1080p display to give its name that double edge sword feeling. Curiously enough LG is set to launch their latest tablet, the weird looking LG G Pad 8.3 at IFA 2013 next week, could the Nexus 5 be seen then too? In all likelihood, the Google Nexus 5 is more than likely set to launch much later this year alongside the long rumoured upcoming version of Android, Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, but the current Nexus getting a steep price cut from its already delicious price makes it quite the hot device.
