The BlackBerry leaks just keep on coming. Yesterday we reported that BlackBerry and Porsche Design might possibly be working on a luxury variant of the BlackBerry Z10, but today’s news is loads more interesting. According to resources within the latest BlackBerry 10.2 software leak, the leaked BlackBerry A10 device which is set to feature a 5-inch display, will in fact be called the BlackBerry Z30.
Earlier leaks of the BlackBerry phablet showed off the BlackBerry Z00 model number, which many discounted as the device was an early prototype without any official naming, but now CrackBerry forum member and staff have found multiple references and images of the device inside the latest leaked version of BlackBerry 10.2 which clearly reference the device as the BlackBerry Z30 and not the BlackBerry A10. The 30 number clearly shows that the device is of a much higher standard than the Z10, but what happened to the Z20 or even Z15 considering the BlackBerry Q5 is just a lower end version of the Q10? The mystery continues, but what we definitely now know is that BlackBerry is making a full on assault and thanks to the Moto X, a 720p screen may not be such a bitter pill to swallow.
BlackBerry is expected to launch the Z30 later this year alongside the leaked BlackBerry 9720, which is set to be the last BlackBerry OS featuring device and a new low end offering.
