The first collaboration between BlackBerry and Porsche Design yielded the BlackBerry P’9981, a weird looking device built off of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and featuring a customized version of BlackBerry OS 7. Now, some new alleged leaked images on Tinhte have shown off a new collaboration between the two that will seemingly based on the BlackBerry Z10.
According to the leakster, the device will be called the BlackBerry P’9982, but come on; BlackBerry P10 sounds much more plausible. The BlackBerry device features a design similar to its predecessor, adding the Porsche Design looks to the BlackBerry Z10. The device will supposedly feature a customized version of BlackBerry 10 and pack the same 8MP camera, dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and other features found on the BlackBerry Z10. Like the BlackBerry P’9981 it will supposedly feature a $2,000 price tag making it the perfect choice for that Emirate Sheikh looking for a new, overpriced BlackBerry.
If the device is in fact the real thing, it is likely to be featured alongside the BlackBerry 9720 and the BlackBerry A10 which are both set to launch later this year, although with significantly lower price tags.
