The Nokia Lumia 1020 is finally official and may give Nokia an even bigger edge in the camera phone market. The Lumia 1020 packs the same enormous 41MP sensor similar to the one found on the Nokia 808 PureView, with a Xenon flash for photos and an LED flash for videos as well as lossless zooming and six Zeiss lenses & OIS. It allows for six times lossless zooming with 720p videos and three times with 1080p videos.
On the inside it packs a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 2,000mAh battery, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, LTE and 41MBps HSPA+. It features a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display with a 1,280 x 768 pixel resolution that’s protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It’s coming in white, black and yellow, launching on AT&T on July 26 for $299.99 when signing a two-year contract. It will also comes to various European, Asian and Latin American markets before the end of the quarter.
