Samsung’s latest generation of tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 line has undoubtedly failed to impress. Equipped with low resolution screens, slow processors and other features that can not compare to competitors’ offerings, everyone only assumed that Samsung was shooting themselves in the foot, but it seems that was not the case. According to some new leaks, Samsung is working on a set of tablets that are sure to knock the Apple iPad’s shoes off.

According to the latest set of leaks from EVLeaks, Samsung is preparing at least two large tablets with high resolution displays, both of which are likely to be announced alongside the smaller Samsung Galaxy Note III in early September. EVLeaks mentions a Samsung SM-P900 as well as a Samsung SM-P600, both of which being tablets if their descriptions are anything to go by. The Samsung SM-P900 will supposedly pack a 12.2-inch touch display with a 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution as well as Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor and a Samsung S Pen. The Samsung SM-P600 will apparently pack a smaller 10.1-inch touch display with a 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution and will be powered by the speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
If the leaks are the real deal, then we are looking at a set of tablets that will give Apple’s iPad 5 and the supposed Apple (Max)iPad a run for its money. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 HD? Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 HD? Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 HD? Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 12.2 HD? Samsung Galaxy S4 Maxi? Samsung Galaxy S4 Maxi Plus? We kid, but with Samsung, anything’s possible…
