After ‘millions’ of leaks, HTC finally officially announced the HTC One Mini earlier today, confirming most of the leaks that have detailed the device until now. The HTC One Mini may very well take on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, and beat it to take the ‘Mini’ phone crown.

The HTC One Mini packs a 4.3-inch touch display with a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, a 1.4GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of non-expandable memory, a 4MP UltraPixel camera, LTE & HSPA+ as well as a 1,800mAh battery. The HTC One Mini will hit select markets in August, with the rest of the globe starting in September. Software-wise the HTC One Mini is set to pack Android 4.2.2 and HTC’s Sense 5 UI with no news on whether or not it will be upgradable to future iterations of the OS.
