Best Buy has officially started shipping the affordable, small Android tablet to eager customers who have pre-ordered it, jumping the gun by five days and certainly ensuring some big smiles on plenty of faces. The new Nexus 7 has also gone on sale at the official retail outlets, much earlier than the July 30 date that Google announced at their event on Wednesday. The new Google Nexus 7 will hit other retailers as well as the Google Play store on next Wednesday, a week after launching, with the 16GB model going for $229 and the 32GB model for $269. In addition to shipping with the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean straight out of the box, the tablet also comes with a high definition display, wireless charging and loads of other nifty features.
An LTE-enabled version of the new Nexus 7 is set to go on sale later this quarter featuring 32GB of storage and all the other specifications that have made fans drool, it’s set to retail for $349.
