Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom official; 16MP point and shoot with 10x optical zoom and cellular connectivity
Samsung has always been known to make quite a lot of cameras, a hobby they enjoy alongside the loads more phones they make; no they have once again made a point and shoot camera that has a phone built in, I say that because the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom doesn’t come close to the likes of HTC’s UltraPixel or Nokia’s Pureview technologies. It’s official.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom has been officially announced, not that it hasn’t been masquerading for photos, and even a review, over the last few weeks. The Galaxy S4 Zoom is a full fledged point and shoot digital camera, with a phone built into it. The Galaxy S4 Zoom borrows a lot of its features from the Galaxy S4 Mini and features a 4.3-inch qHD touch display, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, a 1.9MP front facing camera as well as a 16MP rear facing camera that has 10x optical zoom, OIS and a Xenon flash.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom also packs a lot of special software and applications and will reportedly launch in the UK later this summer, with the US and Europe to join later on. No pricing has been confirmed.
