The Huawei Ascend W2 has leaked before, thus far in blue, red and yellow, but now Huawei has given us an official tease in the form of a Windows Phone 8 splashing into some water. The Huawei Ascend W2 is set to take on Nokia’s offerings with its low price, full fledged feature set and water resistant body. The Ascend W2 has been rumoured to feature a 4.3-inch 720p touch display, a dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage as well as a 8MP camera. It is expected to be announced at Huawei’s ‘Beauty’ event in London next week.
The Ascend W2 is rumoured to be only 7.7mm thick, stark in comparison to the 6.18mm Ascend P6, but slim for a Windows Phone device non-the-less.
