Have a phone or ‘phablet’ with a full HD display? You are more than likely to thank the original HTC Butterfly for that as it was the first phone to ever make use of a full HD display, today HTC have announced its successor in the form of the HTC Butterfly S.
The HTC Butterfly S brings some familiar changes to the original HTC Butterfly, but is unlikely to be the bigger version of the HTC One that has been rumoured for weeks now to come to the market soon. The HTC Butterfly S features a 5-inch full HD touch display, a 1.9GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage which will of course be expandable, an UltraPixel camera as well as a hefty 3,200mAh battery to keep your Butterfly S awake all day. The Butterfly S will go on sale in Taiwan in July for $780 and it remains to be seen whether or not it will go on sale anywhere else.
HTC has been rumoured to be working on an HTC One successor of some sorts that will feature a much larger display whilst keeping most of the good old features found on the one.
