Facebook’s announcement of that they will be unveiling a “big idea” this Thursday has brought along a lot of speculation as to what big blue has planned for us, some have suggested that they will be unveiling a Google Reader replacement while today news has started spreading, supposedly from insiders, that the company is bringing video sharing to Instagram, making it more competitive with Twitter’s more popular Vine.

Supposed industry insiders have suggested that Facebook’s Instagram team has been working on bringing video sharing to the popular photo edit and sharing service that Facebook bought not too long ago for $1 billion following its rapid rise in popularity. Twitter’s still infant Vine video sharing service has been growing rapidly since it became available on Android just a few weeks ago. Vine shares have quickly overtaken Instagram shares on social networks which is supposedly one of the things that prompted Facebook and Instagram to add a similar feature to Instagram.
Whether video sharing is coming to Instagram or the company is bringing out a new way to read RSS feeds, all will be revealed on Thursday!
