The ASUS K009 has leaked yet again, this time with an image courtesy of Bluetooth SIG, and may very well be the next generation ASUS made Google Nexus 7 tablet. It looks quite a lot like it’s predecessor and may launch sometime in the second half of the year.

The ASUS K009 has been called a ‘Nexus’ tablet in a recent FCC filing and now the tablet has appeared, being described to boast “a 7 inch LED-backlit capacitive multitouch screen for easy carrying and fantastic multi-media experience everywhere. It is empowered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU with the highest performance.” The K009 may very well be the next ASUS Google Nexus 7 which is said to pack LTE and come with a 5MP rear facing camera, 1.3MP front facing camera as well as a 4,000mAh battery.
The Nexus 7 2, or whatever it is called, is nearing and may come with the next update to Android, version 4.3 Jelly Bean, and should have a starting price close to that of it’s predecessor which started at $199.
