BlackBerry 10 fails to sell well, not coming to PlayBook

without comments

BlackBerry’s attempt at making a comeback may have been illfated from the start, but everyone has hoped that the company would be able to salvage its situation. Now, the verdict is in, the first full quarter of BlackBerry 10 sales has shown some disappointment.

Take a look at our range of BlackBerry Q10 accessories, now available for purchase!

In the three months between March and May of this year, BlackBerry managed to ship 6.8 million devices, of which only 2.7 million were running on the new BlackBerry 10 OS. What’s more, it didn’t specify sales, just shipments. The company has been struggling to make a comeback, but is already in a much better position than Nokia was when it launched it’s comeback efforts in late 2011.

The company also announced that they would not be bringing the new OS to it’s illfated tablet, the PlayBook, as promised for several years now due to user experience and usage issues.
