Despite a successor rumoured to launch next month, T-Mobile US’ iPhone 5 seems to be doing quite well barely a month after it first went on sale. The UnCarrier reports that over 500,000 units have been sold in the last few weeks, just four days shy of a month.

The T-Mobile US branded Apple iPhone 5 went on sale on April 12 for just $99 with 24 monthly down payments of $20 each. The device was priced so well that it apparently sold over 500,000 units of the device in the last four weeks ending on Friday and that with a new and improved model supposedly just a month away. On April 12 the company reported that demand for the device has been much higher than they had anticipated and the demand doesn’t seem to have calmed down much.
The Apple iPhone 5S is rumoured to launch next month as a cheaper, improved alternative to the the Apple iPhone 6, at least that’s what rumours are saying. Can you wait a month to see the next iDevices?
