The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is still as unimpressive as it’s smaller sibling specification-wise, but it does appear to be quite a looker. The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 features an 8-inch touch display with a 1,280×800 pixel resolution, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 16GB of expandable storage with support of upto 64GB microSD cards, a 5MP rear facing camera as well as a 1.3MP front facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 4,450mAh battery. There will be a WiFi version as well as one with cellular data capabilities, no word on LTE support. It also remains unclear which version of Android the tablet will be launched with.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is expected to launch sometime within the coming weeks and should be much more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. Do you think it will be able to compete with the Apple iPad Mini?
