Up-and-coming iOS email client, Mailbox, which was acquired by Dropbox in March, has received a new update bringing along support for the Apple iPad and opening the application up to a wide array of new users through the world’s most popular tablet. The new update brings along iPad support with a new two column layout to accommodate the larger screen real estate. The GMail-only email client has received critical acclaim for its new approach to the ancient art of email, so much so that it caught the eyes of some pretty big players.
Plenty of users have been eagerly awaiting support for other email hosting services such as Yahoo Mail and Microsoft Outlook as well as support for other platforms such as Android and the latest update shows that the application is expanding and should likely bring those offerings to the market in due time.
