All is not well in Taiwan nowadays after news of several high ranking executives departing from the company has come to light. With the HTC One still only in its infant roll out stages, it seems that the company’s CEO may be on his way out too.
HTC’s CEO, Peter Chou, staked his whole career on the HTC One’s success, and at the rate its going now, he won’t have a career much longer. News came to light today that the company is losing several key executives which includes Chief Product Officer, Kouji Kodera; Vice President of Global Communications, Jason Gordon; Head of Global Digital Service, Elizabeth Griffin and HTC Asia CEO, Lennard Hoornik, who will be replaced by the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Chia-Lin Chang, until a formal replacement is found.
HTC is said to be undergoing some restructuring which will see it taking operations a little closer to home in Taipei, it remains unclear whether or not the executive left out of their own or were relieved of their duties.
