According to the latest spat of rumours, Google is readying a successor to its hugely successful low budget tablet the Asus Google Nexus 7. Apparently the successor will be shown off at Google I/O next week with it going on sale sometime between June and July. The new Nexus 7 is set to feature a 7-inch touch display with a 1920×1200 pixel resolution, a quad core Qualcomm processor, a thinner bezel, Qi wireless charging and a 5MP snapper on the back.
Google may be readying the device to go on sale before the rumoured iPad Mini with Retina to capture a further market share for Android powered tablets. The current Nexus 7 is likely to stay on as a low priced Android tablet.
