The Samsung made Google Nexus 10 tablet surprised everyone last year and the thing on everyone’s mind has been when Samsung would bring some of the features found on the tablet to its Galaxy Tab line, well, this year’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.0 has leaked.
Thinking about getting Samsung’s new flagship? Then take a look at our Samsung Galaxy S4 accessories!
This year’s Samsung Galaxy Tab line up will supposedly feature a 10.1-inch model as well as an 8-inch model to compete directly with Apple’s iPad and iPad Mini. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is set to feature a mediocre 10.1-inch touch display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution, a 1.5GHz dual core processor and 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE and HSPA+ depending on your market as well as a 7,000mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will supposedly be only 8.7mm thick.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is set to feature an 8-inch touch screen with a 1280×800 pixel resolution, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4,500mAh battery and is said to be only 6.95mm thick. Both tablets will feature Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 3G versions are expected to go on sale in May with 4G/LTE enabled versions going on sale in June/July.
As with all rumours, this one should be taken with a pinch of salt, especially if the specifications are said to be so mediocre. Samsung will surely have some better specced tablets ready if they are to take on Apple’s speedy iPads that are rumoured to both feature Retina displays this year and have some design tweaks.
