Samsung took today to launch yet another Android powered product, with the launch of the first of the new Galaxy Tabs for the year. The new Galaxy Tab 3 line was announced with the first and only (for now according to rumours) Tab being the lower end 7-inch model.
Thinking about getting Samsung’s new flagship? Then take a look at our Samsung Galaxy S4 accessories!
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch model features mediocre specifications as the display features a low end 1,024×600 pixel touch display, a 1.2GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM and comes with two memory sizes to choose from; 8GB and 16GB. The Galaxy Tab 3 also comes with dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 4,000mAh battery. The model runs on the now older Android 4.1 instead of the more modern Android 4.2 included on most new Samsung products that have launched this year. The 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 will feature a WiFi-only version, which is set to go on sale in May, as well as a 3G version which is set to go on sale in June. No pricing has been revealed yet.
Rumours have also revealed that Samsung are preparing quite a bunch of tablets for release later this year including a dual SIM variant of the the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch. Apparently there will be an 8-inch model with a full HD display as well as an 11-inch model which will both form part of the Galaxt Tab 3 line. A Samsung Nexus 11 will also come to fruition featuring a Exynos 5 Octa processor. Of course we’ll have to wait until official announcements before we can believe most rumours.
