HTC finally launched the long awaited Android flagship – The HTC One in India – the struggling Taiwanese smartphone maker announced the HTC One back in February. The HTC One has a very unique and appealing design with heavy use of metal elements – taking designs of Android flagships to another level all together.
The HTC One packs a 4.7 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD screen, powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. The one runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with the new HTC Sense UI and HTC BlinkFeed. The One also has the much talked about UltraPixel camera on the back with LED Flash and a 2.1MP HD front shooter with 88 wide angle lens with HDR capability.
The HTC One will be available at a market operating price (MOP) of Rs 42,900. It would be in the market by the end of month. The pricing of the One is pretty aggressive (which is very unlike of HTC!) at par with Apple iPhone 5, Sony Xperia Z, BlackBerry Z10 and Nokia Lumia 920 – Samsung will follow suit, with the Galaxy S4, which hopefully will be priced similarly or lower.
