Rumours have started cooling down on this year’s iPhone and it’s more affordable counter part, but new information has surfaced indicating that Foxconn is on a hiring spree to ensure that enough iPhones are made for the year to come.

According to people familiar with the matter, Foxconn, the company that manufactures most of the gadgets available on the market today, has increased its workforce in to ensure that enough units of the next iPhone and its rumoured cheaper little brother are made in time for its launch later this year. The company is said to have hired more than 10,000 people each week since the end of last month after getting the go ahead from Apple.
The new workers will assemble the new iPhones as well as the current flagship Apple iPhone 5 and the older iPhone 4S. The employees may also be responsible for assembling other upcoming Apple products including the iPad 5, Retina iPad Mini and maybe even the rumoured iWatch.
